Maun Regional Campus

    Maun Regional Campus presents a unique opportunity for the communities of Maun and the North-West District as a whole. It offers them a diverse remit of Programmes and Courses through the open and distance methodologies only unique to Botswana Open University as follows:

          • Open Schooling Programme comprising of JC and BGCSE;
          • Fourteen (14) Tertiary Level programmes:

              • Microsoft Office Suite;
              • Small Scale Business Management;
              • Community Based Work with Children and Youth;
              • Certificate in Vocational Education and Training;
              • Diploma in Business Management;
              • Diploma in Human Resource Management;
              • Diploma in Integrated Early Childhood Development;
              • Bachelor of Commerce;
              • Bachelor of Business Administration – Leadership and Change Management;
              • Bachelor of Business and Entrepreneurship;
              • Bachelor of Education – Integrated Early Childhood Development;
              • Bachelor of Education – Primary;
              • Bachelor of Education – Special and Inclusive Education;
              • Master’s in Education – Educational Leadership

     

          • Open Schooling programme is offered through a network of strategically placed study centres in Junior Secondary Schools at Seronga, Gowa, Shakawe, Gumare, Etsha, sehithwa, Maun (4 centres at Tshwaragano, Tsodilo, Mathiba Primary School and BOU Main Campus), Gweta and Rakops. There are Satellite centres in Ghani, Habu, Moreomaoto, Xere, as well as Maun Prison.
          • Tertiary Programmes and Short Course activities are hosted in the main BOU Campus in Maun.
          • Maun Regional Campus boasts a state of the art facility with Classrooms, IT lab, Library, and Wi-Fi connectivity for its clients. It also hosts a Conference facility with a 250 seater Auditorium and a 32-room hostel (fully furnished, air-conditioned, DSTV equipped and all rooms ensuite)
